Purchase Process...
The decision to add a puppy to your family is huge
We are honoured that you appreciate our efforts as a responsible breeder.
Now that you've decided you want a Pureheart puppy, we want to make the process as seamless as possible.
From time to time we keep a puppy in the hopes of it becoming part of our breeding program in the future. To achieve this we partner with specially selected owners who provide a Guardian Home.
There are so many benefits to this arrangement for the owner and us as breeders, but most importantly for the puppy/dog.
If you are interested in learning more about this, please connect with us.

Applying to purchase one of our puppies
First, please review all the information on our website. We have purposely added a lot of information so that you can make an informed decision. We want you to feel comfortable with our breeding practices and us.
If you have reviewed our website thoroughly, are confident this is the right breed for your household, understand and agree to the conditions set out, and would like to apply to purchase one of our puppies - great! Here's how...
We've made some changes, here's the new process....
Our Purchase Process:
This Application Process confirms your sincere interest in purchasing one of our puppies and
allows us to focus our communications to those seriously interested in a Pureheart puppy. This also allows us to form a relationship prior to the time puppies are born, so we can then direct our attention toward caring for the puppies.
Step 1. Application
Agreement to Terms & Completion of Puppy Application
(initial screening)
Step 2. Waitlist
Serves as a list of families interested in purchasing a puppy
We'll reach out closer to your preferred timing and ask you to confirm if you want to move forward
Step 3. Interview
We'll reach out to families who intend to purchase a puppy soon and invite them to book a zoom call
Provides a dedicated time for us to meet virtually, review your Application, ask further questions and get to know each other better
(secondary screening)
Step 4. Reservation List
Serves as a list of families who've confirmed their interest in purchasing a puppy from an upcoming litter
We'll reach out when we have the details of a planned breeding and ask you to confirm if you want to reserve a puppy from that litter
A $500 Reservation Fee will be required to demonstrate your commitment to a puppy from the upcoming litter
Applied towards the purchase price (non-refundable if you change your mind but refundable if we're unable to place a puppy with you)
Step 5. Retaining a Puppy
We'll reach out once the litter is 2 weeks old and ask you to confirm if you want us to continue to retain a puppy on your behalf
A $500 Retainer Fee will be required to demonstrate your continued commitment to a puppy from that litter
Applied towards the purchase price (non-refundable if you change your mind but refundable if we're unable to place a puppy with you)
Step 6. Suitability Assessment
We'll reach out once the litter is a few weeks old and ask you to complete a Placement Questionnaire
Allows us to find out more about your preferences around size, gender, activity level, colour, lifestyle, care, training, grooming, etc.
Gives us an opportunity to discuss your specific situation further and explore the type of puppy that would be most suitable for your family
Step 7. Placements
We'll reach out once the litter is around 7-8 weeks old to let you know which puppy we are placing with your family
We take the individual needs and preferences of each family into consideration but cannot always satisfy all preferences
Note: we reserve the right to keep back any puppy for our breeding program
Step 8. Purchase Details
We'll reach out once we've completed the placements and ask you to make the final payment for your puppy and sign the Contract
Completes all the required purchase details such as paperwork and finances, so we can focus on you and your puppy during pick-up
Purchase price varies and each litter is individually priced (feel free to inquire for further details)
Step 9. Pick-Up
We'll reach out once the purchase details have been completed and confirm a day/time to pick-up your puppy
Puppies will be ready to leave for their new homes between 8 - 9 weeks old
Step 10. Touch Base
We'll reach out after the puppy has gone to their new home and periodically through their life and ask you book a zoom call
We care about our puppies and want to know how they make out once they go to their new homes and as time passes
Allows a dedicated time for you to ask questions or seek support if needed
Note: we reserve the right to cancel the sale at any time, if we feel that you are not a suitable fit.
If you are not comfortable with any of our terms or this process, please contact us before proceeding.
